Engineering Leadership and Innovation, or ELI, program
The ELI program is now accepting applications for the 2019-20 school year. The program blends engineering curricula with leadership studies and business courses, practical leadership experience, and industry mentoring to prepare students for potential leadership roles in corporations and industrial firms. Participants enter the two-year program in their junior year and receive a $3,000 scholarship per year. Application review will begin Feb. 2, 2019. Apply online now!

 

Apply to be an Engineering Ambassador
Engineering Ambassadors is now accepting applications for new members. As a reminder, students must complete the CLUE program prior to applying to be an Ambassador. The deadline to apply is Friday, Jan. 25, 2019. For questions, contact Daniel Staudenmaier, danstaud@ksu.edu, or Ryley Schools, schools@ksu.edu.

 

Spirit Aerosystems Career Spotlight -- Monday, Jan. 28
Interested in learning more about working at Spirit Aerosystems? Spirit hires all engineering majors. Attend one of the following events to learn more:

  • Information table: 2:30-4:20 p.m., Fiedler Hall atrium
  • Presentation: 4:30-5 p.m., 1109 Engineering Hall

Students who attend the presentation will be entered to win prizes. Following the presentation, join us for ice cream and cookies at the career spotlight social.

 

The Kansas Board of Regents approved Dec. 12, 2018, the first named academic college at Kansas State University. K-State's College of Engineering will be named in honor of K-State alumnus Carl R. Ice.
