- Pollution Prevention Institute awarded KDHE grant to aid small businesses
The Pollution Prevention Institute at K-State has received a $333,000 grant from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to provide free, confidential environmental compliance assistance to Kansas small businesses.
- Lei awarded NSF grant to develop all-optical fabrication of waveguides in silicon
Shuting Lei, Carl R. and Mary T. Ice industrial engineering professor, has received a National Science Foundation grant to develop a direct laser writing method to produce 3D optical waveguides embedded inside silicon with low propagation loss.
- Engineering Extension surpasses $1M in grant assistance to Kansas ag producers, rural small businesses
The Kansas Energy Program has helped Kansas agricultural producers or rural small businesses complete 58 grant applications, resulting in more than $1 million in federal grant funding to implement energy efficiency or renewable energy projects.
