With its eight departments, K-State engineering offers 12 different degree programs with several formal options.

General engineering program

The first-year general engineering program offers introductory engineering courses and advising that cover all educational offerings in the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering at K-State. After completing the program, students can easily transition into the degree tract of their choosing, right in step with their peers.

Accreditation

All Bachelor of Science engineering degree programs1 are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. The Bachelor of Science in computer science degree program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET. The Bachelor of Science in construction science and management degree program is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education.

1The new Bachelor of Science degree programs in biomedical engineering and environmental engineering are not currently accredited but will seek ABET accreditation according to its process and guidelines for new engineering programs.

Career placement and salary data provided by the K-State Career Center. Career placement includes K-State engineering undergraduate students who are employed or enrolled in graduate or professional schools within six months of graduation.
