The Society of Women Engineers partakes and hosts many activities throughout the year as an active part of our college and community. These activities benefit those involved through experience, networking, and service.

  • Hold social events and gatherings to encourage collegiate student fellowship.
  • Promote and learn more about different fields of engineering.
  • Tour local engineering firms and facilities in Manhattan, KS.
  • Engage young women in grade school and encourage them to consider engineering fields and careers.
  • Host Girl Scout Day to provide young Girl Scouts with a chance to experience what engineering is first hand.
  • Attend SWE Regional Conferences.
  • Attend SWE Annual Conferences.
  • Participate in Engineering Student Council (ESC) E-Week festivities
